easyJet Europe was set up as a European HQ in 2017 by easyJet to operate EU flights after Brexit, since the airline still faces legal uncertainty about whether it will be able to fly between the UK and EU, and on what terms. So easyJet applied for a new air operator's certificate in Austria to allow it to continue flying in the EU after Brexit.
The restructuring of the business will involve the re-registering of 110 aircraft under Austrian jurisdiction.
