The Sunweb group is a travel organisation offering international holidays under different brand names and operating in The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany and France. It has a pan-European identity with tour operator activities based in Zurich, Switzerland, headquarters and back-office in Rotterdam, Netherlands, software and web development in Girona (Spain) and various sales offices around Europe. Brand names are Sunweb, Eliza was here, GOGO, Beachmasters, Bizztravel, Husk, X-travel, Sudtours and Primavera Reizen. Sunweb is the flagship brand of the group, offering online packaged holidays towards sun and winter sport destinations.
Sunweb Group started in 1991 as the Dutch brand Gogo Tours. The brand Suntext Vliegreizen was created and later the name changed to Sundio Group. In 2005 Alpinvest Partners took a majority interest. Other brands were acquired and in 2018 Sundio Group was changed to Sunweb Group, which was acquired by the Scandinavian investment company Triton in February 2019.
