Rossiya Airlines, sometimes branded as Rossiya, is a Russian airline established in 1992 and first headquartered in Moscow. Based at Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport from 2006, it has additional hubs at Moscow Vnukovo International Airport, Rostov-on-Don Airport and Orenburg Tsentralny Airport.
In the early 2000s the Russian government decided to merge Rossiya Airlines with Pulkovo Airlines from Saint Petersburg, established 1932. The merger process began in December 2004. In November 2006 it was announced that the merger had been completed and Rossiya Airlines was registered in Saint Petersburg on 9 October 2006 and has a branch in Moscow and 54 offices in Russia and abroad.
Rossiya Airlines operates the Russian presidential fleet, i.e. aircraft used by the president of Russia and other government officials (Rossiya Special Flight Squadron). Registration RA-64059 belongs to this fleet.
Rossiya is owned by Aeroflot for 75%.
