Air France (formally Société Air France, S.A.), stylized as AIRFRANCE, is the French flag carrier, with headquarter at Charles de Gaulle Airport, north of Paris, France. The airline's global hub is at Charles de Gaulle Airport, with Orly Airport, Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, Marseille Provence Airport, Toulouse Blagnac Airport, and Nice Côte d'Azur Airport serving as secondary hubs.
Air France was established 7 October 1933, from a merger of Air Orient, Air Union, Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne (CIDNA) and Société Générale des Transports Aériens (SGTA).
In 2004 Air France and KLM merged to form Air France-KLM. A subsidiary of Air France for regional flights is HOP!, established December 2012.
Air France is a founding member of the SkyTeam airline alliance, founded 22 June 2000.
