FD-Composites

FD-Composites GmbH is an aerospace company in Pabneukirchen, Austria. It was founded in 2005 by Dietmar Fuchs, its priority being to manufacture prototypes made of glass and carbon fibre. Since then, it has been involved in projects with manufacturers as Eurocopter (Germany), BMC (Itay) and Hartl Anlagenbau (Austria), using the infusion moulding process in particular.
The Chinese Sichuan Dahua General Aircraft Manufacturing Company bought ArrowCopter in September 2019 after bankruptcy of FD-Composites in 1918.

ArrowCopter

The ArrowCopter series of autogyros is designed and produced by FD-Composites. It features a single main rotor, a two-seats in tandem configuration enclosed cockpit with bubble canopy, stub wings, tricycle landing gear and a four-cylinder, liquid and air-cooled, four-stroke, dual-ignition turbocharged 115 hp (86 kW) Rotax 914 engine in pusher configuration. The AC10 flew for the first time on 20 November 2008 and the first production examples appeared in 2011. Production of the AC20 began in 2012. It is supplied as complete, factory built ready-to-fly-aircraft. By 2015 at least 40 aircraft had been produced, going to customers in nine countries.
