Luxaviation Belgium was trading as Abelag Aviation before 2016.
Abelag Aviation was established in 1964 (Abelag = Association belge d'Aviation Générale) and started operations from Zaventem, nowadays Brussels Airport. It was an air charter company based in Brussels, Belgium, operating ad hoc charter, air taxi, cargo and medical flights, as well as helicopter VIP flights and air ambulance work with main base at Brussels Airport and seats at Antwerp International Airport, Kortrijk-Wevelgem International Airport, Paris Le Bourget Airport in France and Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands.
In 2005 Abelag merged with "Sky Services nv" and in May 2010 it received “the Gold Safety Flight Award” from the European Business Aviation Association, for more than 40 years of safe flights around the world.
In 2013 it was taken over by Luxaviation and since 2016 Abelag is trading as Luxaviation Belgium.
